2008 Olympic Weightlifting Trials At Georgia Tech University. I shot a lot of successful lifts, but the most intriguing photos, to me, were the reactions after the failed lifts. So much preparation, focus, and adrenaline go into a 5 second burst of energy. In that burst, the olympic hopes and dreams of an athlete can either continue or end there on the platform. No Lift.
